UPDATE 11am Friday, October 19th!!!

At West Cypress Hills Park (approximately 5520 Cypress Ranch Blvd, Spicewood, TX 78669) today, Friday, 10/19, from 3-3:15pm  taking donations directly to Marble Falls United Methodist Church.

They are now accepting single serving water, Gatorade, and cleaning supplies. If anyone wants to donate, they should let Sylvia Christensen, know at sylverware@aol.com or 512-297-3193 so that she knows to wait for you at the park and can have enough vehicles there if I need more than 1!

Sylvia can take donations at her house, as well. Children are welcome to write words of encouragement to the flood victims and bring those to us to distribute. My daughter is writing something on a regular size sheet of paper and I'm photocopying it for her due to the time constraints! Some of the girls in our Girl Scout troop are collecting supplies and writing encouraging messages for their Daisy Take Action project!

Another mom in my Girl Scout troop and her husband are renting a large Budget truck and will be picking up donations at the Dick's Sporting Goods at the Galleria (3921 Market St, Bee Cave, TX 78738), Friday, 10/19, evening from 6-7pm.

You can also drop off donations with them in Briarcliff Saturday morning by contacting Alison Bryant, colorbaraustin@gmail.com or 512-698-6290.

Please feel free to pass this information on to anyone who needs it!

We are Real People

Our vision is to be a community where imperfect people are transformed by the perfect love of God and change the world together.

Jesus said we would be known by love: our love of God and our love for others. We strive to be a community marked by love. That's why we gather together, pray, and serve. That's how we express our love for God and one another.

Bee Creek UMC began in 2002 as a "mobile church." We met in community centers where we sometimes had to clean up from parties the night before or sweep up beer bottles! Regardless of where or how we've met, there has always been one over-riding goal: to open the door for people to experience the transformational power of Jesus Christ.

Come and worship with us. Come serve with us. You are welcome here.

MEET OUR TEAM

“Let me give you a new command: Love one another. In the same way I loved you, you love one another. This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples—when they see the love you have for each other.”

John 13:34-35
