Women's Ministries of BCUMC

The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Isaiah 58:11

The women of BCUMC believe that authentic relationships are key. Our Women’s Ministry works hard to connect women of all ages and backgrounds to God and to one another. We offer a variety of events, including small group studies, service opportunities, mission trips, and an annual retreat. Connect with us! Please contact Cathy Gourley at drcagourley@austin.rr.com or 512.264.2337.

Women's Mission Trips

La Senda Children's Home, Guatemala

In addition to the church sending monthly financial support ($6,000/year) to this children's home and school in Guatemala, we also have annual mission trips to the home. We had a mission team of 11 women go to the home this summer. They took  many needed items to the children. The women loved interacting with the children and teachers and cannot wait to go back next year. For more information, please contact the office@beecreekumc.org.

What's your heart song?

Oftentimes we find ourselves called to serve on issues that are close to our heart. Maybe we have "been there" or know someone, or we are passionate about solving something in our community and world that drives deep emotion in us. Bee-Moved is a service initiative of Bee Creek UMC women's ministry where we inspire, motivate, and mobilize the women of our church to listen and serve where their heart song is calling. Join our Facebook group where you are encouraged to share, communicate, and listen to those callings. Post pictures, stories, articles, issues, comments, and most importantly, opportunities for us to serve and to BEE-MOVED!
