Three’s 3-Day Lead Teacher and Music Teacher

What do you like about teaching at Bee Loved? Bee Loved is where my children’s initial school experience began. Because of Bee Loved, we also found a church home! I absolutely could not pass up the opportunity to give back to this community in which my family has grown to love.

What do you like about working with children? My absolute favorite thing about working with children is watching their transformation from day one to the final day of the school year. Their growth is such a gift to watch, and to be a part of that is a true blessing.

How does your background support your work at Bee Loved? I have been an educator for 17 years and have been blessed to teach a wide array of students aging from 18 months to 18 years! I feel so lucky to be surrounded by such joyous, curious, excited, souls each day. While my education at The University of Texas prepared me to work in the classroom, it’s my students that are constantly helping me grow into a better educator year after year. We are always learning from each other!

Our mission is to provide the children in our community with a loving Christian setting; to offer a nurturing and encouraging environment; to guide children in learning about themselves, the world and God’s love; to build children’s self-esteem; and to see children, not as they are now, but as what they can become. What does our mission mean to you? I believe that an early positive education experience sets the foundation for future success in school and helps to develop positive members of our community. As an educator at Bee Loved, I strive to develop a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters social-emotional growth, spiritual growth, creativity, and academic development. When a student feels safe, they are most ready to learn!
