The Farmacy Community Garden was established by Clara Kistner in 2017 to provide organic produce for clients of Helping Hand Crisis Ministry of Spicewood. Our original home was near the Spicewood Community Library, we moved to the BCUMC campus in 2020.

Join Us

We welcome you to help in the garden!

Volunteers are welcome at 8:00am every Tuesday and Thursday, and at 8:00am on the first and third Saturday of each month.

The Numbers

Since we started tracking our production volume in 2018, we have grown, harvested, and shared:

  • 2,278 pounds of produce in 2024 (so far!)
  • 3,171 pounds of produce in 2023
  • 1,694 pounds of produce in 2022
  • 2,656 pounds of produce in 2021
  • 2,122 pounds of produce in 2020
  • 1,268 pounds of produce in 2019
  • 1,087 pounds of produce in 2018

That’s a total of 14,276 pounds in seven years!
