Serve
WE BELIEVE GOD is LOVE
We invite you to engage with our vibrant church community and explore the many ways you can participate and make a difference. Whether you are new to our church or a long-time member, there are numerous opportunities to connect, serve, and grow in faith.
Volunteering with Bee Creek UMC is a wonderful way to serve others, grow in your faith, and become more connected to the church community. There are always opportunities to get involved, whether you have a lot of time to give or just a little. Here’s how you can start volunteering:
- Church Bulletin, Newsletter, and Social Media: Review the weekly bulletin and church email newsletter for announcements about volunteer needs. You can also find volunteer opportunities on social media, so make sure you follow us. This is a great way to learn about both ongoing and short-term opportunities.
- Contact the Church Office: If you’re not sure where to start or have specific skills you’d like to offer, contact the church office directly. They can guide you to the right opportunities based on your interests and availability. Sometimes, just expressing your willingness to help is all it takes. The staff can help you find a place where your talents are needed.
- Join a Volunteer Team: Join one of the church’s established volunteer teams. This could include children’s ministry, youth ministry, hospitality, worship support, outreach, special events, leading Bible studies or small groups, women’s ministry, and men’s ministry.
- Usher/Greeter: We’d love for you to join our team of ushers and greeters at BCUMC. Your warm welcome and friendly presence will make a big difference in our community. You can sign up online here or email Vonnie Howard here and she will put you on the schedule.
- By volunteering, you’ll not only make a difference in the lives of others but also deepen your connection to the Bee Creek UMC community and grow in your faith. The church values every volunteer and looks forward to helping you find your place to serve.
